Akilah Shaw is a creative and results-driven apparel professional with more than 16 years of successful fashion design, product development, and visual merchandising experience. She has a track record of successful operational life cycle management from launching new brands/categories through product planning strategy, design concept, costing, specifications to assembly and production.

TAHIRAH SUPPORTS MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS
Conversations around mental health and wellness have steadily become more of a cultural focus. While the continued destigmatization of these formerly taboo topics is a great win, we need to make even greater strides in ensuring every adult and child has access to mental health resources. With 1 out of 5 adults experiencing mental illness according to the National Alliance of Mental Illness, the need for relief is immediate.
